Did not finish. I was hoping this book would contain great pieces of fiction writing, because so much of literature classes focus on great literature works or non-fiction. Unfortunately, the pieces that were chosen were all dry and boring. I was hoping for some really great stories, but I just found I didn't care.
A really great collection of journalism, fiction and ephemera, including my favorite left-field surprise of all - a fake Werner Herzog twitter feed with a year's worth of heavy soul observations such as:
March 6, 2016: Americans: You do not need standing desks. You need desks that teeter on the edges of open graves for the moment you stop working.
Actually, I read the BANRR 2019 - but the option wasnt available and I need a count towards my yeraly book challenge so i marked this one as read this year (though I read this one past years :))
