Wish I had found this book when I was 30. Very comprehensive for day-to-day women (like me). I am 2/3rds through the book and it has defined what's going on with me (for years) and how to begin addressing it properly.

The book takes three women's personal histories (they might not be yours) but you're able to draw from all of the scenarios and realize "I need to deal with this now or I'll be stuck forever." You'll know that you can't fool yourself or therapist any longer. You won't be able to do it alone.

I think this book is especially helpful for those (of any gender) who have been stuck in caretaker roles and need help moving into another one, or at least achieving more mobility between multiple roles. Women are especially prone to being trapped in caretaker roles, due to cultural demands and gender role stereotypes.
