Imagine how cool it would be to write a book in just within eight days, any genre and any number of pages. 'How To Write A Book In 8 Days' is a self-help book that will guide you through organized writing even though you're a complete amateur and if you take this book to heart then by the time of mere one week you should have a complete manuscript of a book in your hand you have been thinking of writing for years. A lot of people are under the impression that writing a good book takes years and for that they have to quit their job but here the author has strategically laid down the basic principles she followed to write good books in just a matter of eight or even five days.

This book has methodical approach to solve the problems writers face and anyone who wants to write a book in an organized way so as to make optimum use of their time and energy. Distributed amongst ten chapters this book consists of valuable leasons on writing in a very simple and lucid writing to make the whole learning experience more flexible. Each chapter contains a main point and that point is deliberated and described in further sub points to maintain clarity. The writing style struck me the most, it's so simple and flowy that you just glides with the flow of reading. I personally don't aspire to write books but I do love writing blogs, reviews and journals, so I can relate with most of the insights and tips the book provides to maintain focus and consistency.

This is a wholesome book in many ways, by being it a book on an unconventional topic and equally enjoyable. A good and quick start book for any beginner writer. Although I've enjoyed the book for being it very light and easygoing I prefer more depth in any subject I'm reading about especially about something new, for me it lacks information, preferably good for someone who just wants to dive into learning the bare-bones of the art of writing.

I have read this author’s work before so I had to pick it up. I got this book because I want to write book someday in my life. I tried few times but it needs dedication and guidance how to do it. And I was seeking for the guidance through this. I will briefly summarise my views here that will give you idea about the book. I liked the beginning when author mentioned that she wrote all of her books in less than eight days. In this book, author has also guided as decoding the writer’s block. I liked the personal touch given to the book by sharing personal story and experiences. Author started guidance by giving little advices like having a language command, reading many books, etc. Then in next chapter, author analysed writing into tiny questions. For example if you are writing a character, analyse all the aspect about them. That was quite helpful tip. And there are so many other tips like how to find, start and end the story. Read the book to know it all. I liked the end part because it gave me motivation to keep writing. I liked the idea of the book and I found it quite helpful. Author analysed everything and presented in simple and easily understandable manner so everyone can get it. The language of the book is lucid. Author covered many aspects that can be helpful to the budding author no matter what genre they want to write. Overall good read. Quite informative and helpful.

Many aspiring authors are waiting to write their own books with unique concepts. But something coerces them to go further. There should be no hesitation in writing a book when they get the strength given by inspiring writer Priya Kumar.

In every knowledge, we need a master who can guide us to expertise in it. Likewise, through this book, we got Priya Kumar, author of nine best-selling books who has won a total of twenty International and National awards as the guru to expertise us in writing our own books. Whatever profession we are in, there is always an added achievement if we write a book that will honour our identity even more. This book has every strategy that is needed to be maintained for new authors.

Since this self-help book is written by an award-winning author, the language and narrative are undoubtedly excellent. What is missing here are the spiritual stories that Priya Kumar always influences in her other novels. The cover picture is ordinary. This book does not connect to readers who have read other novels by the author since it has not such charisma.

I have always looked upto best selling authors who takes so much time to come up with a best selling book. According to me, when more amount of time is spent on writing a book it will be a hit. But on seeing the title of this book, I was shocked that how is it possible to write a bestseller in 8 days. This made me pick this book in the first place. Second one is that I have read Priya Kumar's "Wise man said" book and absolutely loved it, so picked it up without second thoughts.

My takeaways are, this book does not just tell how to write a book in 8 days. It is a complete professional guide to write a book starting from ideation, putting down the ideas together, character building, how to make the reader glued to the book, publishing the book, marketing the book and what not?

This book covers every single detail for a writer to publish a book. I usually write small stories, articles kind I have always wondered how do authors put up such a huge plot and pen it down. After reading this book, I have gained a lot of knowledge and confidence to write a book.

I look forward to write a book by the knowledge gained from this book.

Highly recommended if you are an avid reader too.

Dear Diary,

I'm sure you are eyeing me from the corner of the bookshelf, drained empathising or rather sympathising 24/7, your pages screaming out to witness the play of words between the lines, your bookmark pining to shift places. Today I see you grinning at the book I hold and perhaps waiting for it to strike a chord.

The author has poured her heart and soul into the book to bring out the writer in each one of us. This surely seems like an autobiography of each of her books since it has everything from A to Z. If you have a story, this book is the motivation you are looking for to kickstart your writing journey.

PS: If I ever end up writing a book, I'll owe it to her for being the driving force 💫

This book is a big milestone by the author to achieve. In this book author has tried to share her life experience as a writer and how she emerged. She has shared her learnings, struggle and everything a writer should know from start to end. I enjoyed reading this entire book. The language is also very precise and clear to understand.

However no ordinary person can write book in 8 days. It takes years of practice and dedication to police your writing skill and start an actual draft that you feel is worth sharing with this world.
Overall book is really good to go for because you will get to know many things.
