Hunt-U.S. Marshal Vol 41: A Lasting Impression

Hunt and his men continue to clean the bad elements from the western plains while building the financial nest egg for the family. A lone assassin is hitting lone cowboys riding herd in remote areas. Hunt’s men must find him and bring him to justice. Hunt’s men travel to the remote part of Colorado searching for the lone assassin and rescues a woman under a wagon at the bottom of a coulee. Her husband is found dead a half mile away from a single gunshot wound. They do their best to save the lady and track down the killer. Hunt’s men travel to Steamboat Springs to rescue a Sheriff from three killers destined to take over the town and kill business owners and take over their business. Construction begins on Hunt’s Green River Ranch and the Green River Sawmill. Beth complains to Hunt about a strange man that has been hanging out at the school and has followed little Bethany and Phyllis home and is now following Beth when she goes to the food store and back home. Hunt sets a trap to catch the man, and a vicious fight breaks out. The man turns out to be tougher than Hunt thought. Hunt checks on brother Luther at Hudson and is shocked to be asked to perform as Best Man at his wedding. Twists and turns in the story lead to new adventures and meeting interesting people. Hunt travels to a Government Horse Auction looking for Clydesdales and ends up hiring a couple as his ranch manager for Utah.

A WLC Western About the U.S. Marshal Service/A Businessman/Ranches

WLC has penned a western novel (41) in the Hunt U.S. Marshal Series. The office gets involved in thr e major murder investigations and the murders those men committed. Hunt sells one farm to his brother while expanding the ranches in Utah. The trips back and forth across the western states keep the Marshals worn to a frazzle. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Good read

Great writing Mr. Cox. Very interesting characters and great story. Enough action to keep you happy. Glad to read of Hunts success in his endeavors to create a good future for his family. As usual waiting on the next book in this series. Would highly recommend this series to everyone that enjoys a great western story.

Hunt-U.s. Marshal Vol 41

Great read and a great story. More action by Hung was refreshing. Horse continues with his antics and takes a few mins by Grey Wolf. You cowboy fans will surely enjoy this book. So, "Giddy up."

Where is volume 40??

Not only volume 40 but in looking ahead there are other volumes missing. ,40 was apparently a major story in Utah.

HUNT'S U. S. MARSHALS TAKE NO MESS

I think we can call U. S. Marshal Hunt a gentleman rancher/farmer. He running these ranches and farms plus his position as U. S. Marshal in charge of the Denver Office. His team of U. S. Marshal are men to ride the river with. They work as a team when they go out on assignments. They don't stand for discriminatory behavior from any of the business owners they interact with, especially when these owners refuse to serve Gray Wolf, who is a U. S. Marshal, these owners seem to say there aren't any Indians who are U, S. Marshal, much as they said about U. S. Marshal Bass Reeves, a man of color. This particular adventure includes trailing owlhoots, murderers and a veteran who fought in the "War Of Anarchy" between the North and the South, has turned into an a sharp shooting ambusher murdering cowboys who are riding the trail by themselves, or working on some lonesome field on a ranch and he just shoots them.
Hunt continues to improve and expand his ranching empire which consist over six hundred thousand acres, that's a lot of land..he made a remark that if he had a chance to continue his education he would have enjoyed the career as a mechanical engineer...he has a good head for statistics. He's also helping his brother, since this is all the family he really has, this meeting of his poor mistreated brother who was released from a prisoner of war camp located in Washington, D. C. with just the clothes on his back, and no idea what to do or how he would survive. Since they worked half to death, starved them also. Just another feather that Hunt can add to his feather of helping people...nothing wrong with that..
