This book have a very strong black and white images from Africans well as a powerful story behind it. This book shows apartheid in South Africa, women have been at the forefront of the fight to abolish it. This is a book worth reading.

A very beautiful read, beautiful black and white photographs that reminded me intensely of what I loved about South Africa while living there. The detailed passages where a good touch, I would have preferred more photographs and less reading passages but I did learn a lot. A solid 4*
