Disappointing. Despite this being published in 2014, Ayakoroma states "it can be posited that there
have been no remarkable attempts in the areas of animated and science fiction (sci-fi) films." Um, what about 'Kajola' (2009)? This was the same year 'District 9' was such a success in South Africa (and upset the Nigerians no end due to its xenophobia.) The under-performance of 'Kajola' effectively tanked Nollywood's attempts at Big Budget SF until 'Ratnik' (2020).
