This was a simple and quick read. A nice geographical description of a region.
I appreciated the time and importance given to the cultures that were present before the Europeans. The small tales of challenges associated with living in the region and the historical depth gave some understanding to the current culture prescription of the area.
I was looking for a bit of a primer for my own trip to the area and was really happy I found this text.
