Lady of Death #4

City of Spirits

Rate this book
This wasn't how Amara wanted to get back to Earth. Now she's stuck there, buried under a mountain of bureaucracy and worried about what's happening to the land she's come to call home. While it's good to see her friends again, it's only a matter of time before the Darkness comes after her, and she's determined not to let him infect Earth.

She has to face him, she has to defeat him once and for all, just like her father did. But her father sacrificed himself to protect his people - her people. Is Amara prepared to do the same? And when time runs out, how far is she willing to go?

This steamy reverse harem fantasy is intended for adult readers.

What a way to end

I loved this series. Loved the characters and writing. Joelle brought to life a world that I fell head first into and never looked back. If you started this series then grab this book and finish it. Could not stop reading until I got to the end.

As always, another great story

I enjoyed this story because, well I just love this series. Amara finally got to go back to Terra and see her friends again, and Dario's attitude was a pleasant surprise. It was a bit anticlimactic at the end when facing off with Kordan after the whole build-up and everything, but I find that in a way it is probably better that way instead of a long, drawn out battle.
