Encouraging children to learn by doing through simple, interactive drawing projects, the third title in the Drawing America series tells the story of Sacajawea, the young Native American who guided Lewis and Clark on their expedition across Northwestern America.
This is a very basic telling of Sacajawea's journey with Lewis and Clark. It has nice enough illustrations and I'm sure it would get young readers interested in learning about Sacajawea.
It also has pictures in to copy and draw for yourself and color them in, as well as a small map of Sacajawea's journey west.
