Two Million Reasons Why
What you don’t know can indeed hurt you and Idris “Izzy” King found that out the hard way. Being street smart wasn’t enough when it came to love and relationships and his girlfriend, Sasha, was proof of that. Feeling like she was in a one sided relationship with Izzy for two years had Sasha questioning herself. Izzy built an impenetrable wall that was impossible for Sasha to break. Self-doubt weighed Sasha down like an anchor and left her with more questions than answers. Izzy was only doing what he was taught, but unfortunately, he wasn’t taught enough. Being from a small town in Mississippi, Navy Reed didn’t know much about the fast paced life of New Orleans. After moving there to be with her boyfriend Chance, Navy was ready to reconsider her decision and run for the hills. Navy’s knight in shining armor turned out to be nothing more than a liar in tin foil. Meeting her best friend, Regan, proved to be just what she needed to keep her sanity intact. When Navy finds something that isn’t being sought, her life seems to take a turn in a better direction. Unfortunately, the fear of trusting someone had her paranoia at an all-time high. Like shadows, fake people followed in the sun but left Navy in the dark. She soon learned that enemies often disguised themselves as friends. When it was all said and done, running away was Navy’s safest option and she had two million reasons why.

I already knew this book was going to be🔥 I’m never disappointed when I read a book by Chenell Parker. Let me start by saying... that damn Navy was working my nerves. I was like dang girl listen to yo ppl and stop being stupid😂 I couldn’t stand Tariq from the beginning, I knew he wasn’t gone be 💩 Chance was a bum and so was Diamond. I’m glad that Navy met Raven, she needed a friend like her. Sasha was just plain ol dumb. Man it’s so much to say🤣 But I’m done. Oh yeah and of course i can’t forget about Izzy, now that’s bae 😍 glad he didn’t go through with his plan.

New Love
I loved this book it had me laughing, Chenell Parker really knows how to keep you entertained, Navy had a goal and stuck to her plan to become a RN, I definitely didn’t like Chance, Diamond or Tariq Karma dealt them a bad hand!!! I loved Izzy he was a sweetheart and never changed up!!
There were a few grammatical errors but the storyline was Tha Bomb, Great Job Chenell Parker

A love so strong!
This story was a true testament that if you wait and believe good things will come. Navy and Izzy were perfect for one another. A few bumps in the road but in the end love prevailed. They taught each other how to love, give and take! Tyriq, Chance and Diamond got what was coming to them, karma ain't no joke! A few grammatical errors but a great read. Chenelle Parker has never written a novel to date that I didn't enjoy! A beast with her pen game! Keep on writing, I'll keep reading!

This is the Chenell I love! Navy played no games with them hands and everybody can catch them at any giving time. I loved her and Raegan’s friendship. Chance was lame and he deserved every that happened to him. A few errors but not many.

I'd have to agree with most of the other reviews. This wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I know Chenell can "bring it" but she didn't with this one. It was o.k.

Everytime I read this story still give me same feelings I'm so happy they both found each other
Even though the way they first met.. like Ivan told Irdis don't sleep on Navy she's different now Idris found what he needed and Navy not only find ture love she also found her friend in Izzy biggest supporter...
But Chance & Diamond got what was coming to them Gambling became what they did they didn't care about who they hurt Lester was the one who was made a fool of
Fake cousin thing went to far Marrying a man because he was rich and Chance being with Navy was wrong but in the end what Chance and Diamond loved more than ppl is same thing is what wind up being what gotten them killed plus the affair didn't not make it better Lester felt he was being made a fool
Now Let's talk about Tariq his Karma came back to how you live with yourself laugh in his Auntie face he claims to love but killed his own cousin then tried to make it look Izzy or his brother killed Petey but he did then killed Sasha baby daddy because just in case Petey told him anything that could lead to him but him trying to be someone he wasn't it why his Auntie was the perfect person to End him.

Unexpected Love❤❤
Izzy was dealt a bad hand in the love department by Sasha when he went to prison for 15months. She cheated on him, was really pregnant by the other dude, and moved dude into Izzy's house. Izzy main focus was his money but eventually he fell in love with Navy while trying to finesse his way into her and Chance's house to retrieve two million dollars that he had stashed their before he went to prison. It was a good thing that Navy found the money and put it in a storage unit. Navy should've listened to Neiman about listening to Tariq especially when his lies gave her reasons to leave Izzy and cut off the Regan. Regan was truly a great friend to Navy and always had her back through whatever. Tariq was really a shady individual to murder his own cousin, Petey, and pretend to grieve with Vivian when he killed her son. I didn't feel sorry for him when Vivian took him out because of the way he killed Petey and Will and savagely beat Chasity and Sasha but didn't do anything when Izzy slapped him like he was a broad. I hate Mr.Lester got caught up in Chance and Diamond's mess but I didn't feel sorry for him shooting them. I love how close Ike and Doreen raised Ivan, Dante, Izzy, Ismael, and Drake to be with each other. I'm glad that Izzy was the man that Navy needed him to be and they got their HEA.

Look, I have to get this off of my chest. Tariq...😏, that boy kept me rubbed the wrong way. He is every bit, of the type of dude, that I despise. You know the ones who have so much negative stuff to say about the next man, to make himself look good. Tariq was a straight busta! And how people think they can continue to do wrong and Karma wont hunt them down is beyond my understanding.
One thing about a habit, it does not GAF about who you are, nor does it care about you or your feelings. Chance showed you that. And as the story goes...you always wanna do right or change when it's too late.
The King brothers, I loved their relationship. Eventhough Ishmael and Drake needed to work on their immature ways, I still loved the relationship Izzy had with Drake.

WOW, this was another hit from MS. Parker. I can't get enough of your stories...
Idris "Izzy" was so bae, so alpha, so make, so strong, so intelligent, so boss man, I can continue for another line because this man right here is your everyday dream. He knows how to treat his woman and make her his queen.
Navy was so childish. I think MS. Parker took country to the highest limit😏... I mean could she be more gullible, naive and just down right stupid? I truly liked her but she was getting on my nerves. Why make all of these decisions like that? She couldn't even think for herself (hint: chance and the hotel🤔🤔🤔-really)
Yet she was the perfect turn around for Izzy.

It's true that once the right one comes along you'll begin doing things you may have never done or thought of doing. Navy was green to a lot and just accepted anything that was said to her. Tariq was the worst type of friend because he had a hidden agenda behind everything. He couldn't handle what life threw and paid the ultimate price. Although Izzy initially wanted what was rightful his he actually got much more. Sasha got on my nerves but she was humbled quickly. I could only smh at Chance and Diamond and wasn't surprised. Navy's naivety was blowing me because she didn't stop to actually think until she found herself in another stupid situation. Mrs. Vivian was a savage but I understood why she did it. Izzy and Navy's relationship flourished rapidly and I loved what they accomplished in such a short time. Regan was truly a great friend and didn't hesitate to have Navy's back. One would've never guessed that Izzy had two million reasons why he needed Navy only for her to steal his heart in return.

Two Million Reasons Why...you SHOULD one-click this book
She's done it AGAIN!! If you've ever read a book by Chenell Parker you know that she is one of THEE best to do it. And she doesn't disappoint in her latest release.
What I love about CP's writing is that it's relatable...it makes you feel as if you really know the characters. They're well written/developed and can make you feel as if you really know them; I also like that she shows growth in her characters through the book. Navy was my favorite even though at times I wanted to strangle her. I could absolutely relate to her in some of the choices she made. Izzy is now ABSOLUTELY my favorite book bae...I like that he was written to be vulnerable/somewhat shy, but also a straight shooter that didn't take much s**t from anyone.
This was the perfect mix of drama, comedy, real life situations and growth. You definitely don't want to miss out on CP's latest read.

Sooooo boring. I kept waiting to get to the good part and it never happened. Navy is slow. Tariq is trifling. Chance is a bum. Sasha and Diamond are birds. The only person I really liked is Izzy and he was boring too. His relationship with his brothers was cute and I enjoyed Navy and Regan’s relationship but everything fell flat. Why did Navy believe Tariq so easily? And then Regan caught the craziest stray. It didn’t make any sense and could’ve been resolved with a quick conversation. Izzy was literally feeding her breakfast in bed hours before and this is the man that’s using you? Girl cmon. Tariq got what was coming to him because ewwww. Entitled, sneaky, and overly going. The HEA was fine I guess. But Izzy calls Navy “love” wayyyyyyy too much. Like every sentence. And again, his dialogue is so boring.

Navy, Navy, Navy omg!! I don't know how this girl was so gone over chance and scared to leave his idiot self. Then to top it off she let Tyriq sneaky self guilt her into things because he helped her out a couple. She needed to find her strength a lot sooner to deal with these dumb idiots. She is the perfect balance for Izzy and vice versa. I was pissed when she called herself running back home because of something Tyriq told her. She should have talked to Izzy and heard him out before flying off the handle. Glad that things worked themselves out and she was able to finally see Tyriq for the snake that he really was. Chance and Diamond were both sorry and Karma gave them exactly what they needed.

First of all Diamond, Chance, and Tariq all got what they deserved. Free my dawg Mr. Lester. I love how they story all tied together. I kinda want a spin-off with Drake and Ismael (low key) So i can see how many more of these King babies Navy pop out. I adore Idris and Navy relationship. Izzy is the GOAT 🐐. I didn’t think Viv had it in her but I’m glad that she found out the truth. Navy pissed me off a little after the hotel scene and especially when she let Chance give her a ride. I hate that Will died though but hopefully Drake keeps his word and makes sure Willow is straight. One thing that I have loved about Chenell Parkers books, is that they are standalone works. The characters are well developed, written, and believable.. Loved Navy, for recognizing she had issues with alcohol, that she was not going to keep dealing with Chance and his nonsense. Too bad that she did not realize the situation with him and Diamond, but those snakes got theirs, Poor Lester.. IDRIS ( Love that Name)... learned to Love, and show Navy how a real man treats and acts with a woman... Loved Regan,,, she was a real friend & Izzys brothers were hilarious... Tariq was a little girl in all aspects, thinking the world owed him something... Great STORY.... PS that 2 Million... Not Even a Factor.....

I took my time reading this cuz I knew that I wasn't going to stop and I wasnt gonna want it to end....there's never a disappointment when chenell parks drop a book I automatically hit one click with no hesitation....its so a little alone how her stories just flow get engaged like you are there with all characters gotta remember they not real lol...izzy got exactly wut he wasn't looking and that's love and fell fast he underestimated Navy and thought she was naive and easy to fool but nope . Now I can say she did make some bad decisions when it came to Chance and Tyriq couldn't stand them for nothing they got exactly wut was coming to them....over all this story was everything and can't wait for more...
I took my time reading this cuz I knew that I wasn't going to stop and I wasnt gonna want it to end....there's never a disappointment when chenell parks drop a book I automatically hit one click with no hesitation....its so a little alone how her stories just flow get engaged like you are there with all characters gotta remember they not real lol...izzy got exactly wut he wasn't looking and that's love and fell fast he underestimated Navy and thought she was naive and easy to fool but nope . Now I can say she did make some bad decisions when it came to Chance and Tyriq couldn't stand them for nothing they got exactly wut was coming to them....over all this story was everything and can't wait for more...

Amazing !
Great from beginning to end . I felt navy was so naïve it’s like she was still in a rebellious stage even though she was grown like why would you move with somebody you barley knew and Tariq was just trouble got his own cousin killed and that’s when you got his . Chance and diamond was so stupid money ain’t that important and that was the cause of their ending smh . Definitelyl love all the king’s brother I was hurt when Will got killed and drake was hurt !
Izzy plan to get close to navy kinda backfired on him and he was hurt but I’m glad they made up , aunt Vivian was a savage in the end lmaooo

Izzy and Navy
I know I am late reading this and I am definitely going backwards with Chenell's category but I must say I really liked this story. The writing is really good and smooth and that is what i love. I like that the the story makes me laugh but also feel. My girl is definitely a trooper, I loved the fight in her no matter how she learned. Izzy was so sweet and respectable with her especially with her past. But Izzy don't play no matter who you are. The bonds of the brothers was really great but each brought something different to the group. Well written and on to the next.

Wow! Chenell Parker has done it once again! This story was unlike any she has written. I thoroughly enjoyed Navy’s character and her process of growing. Chance and Diamond really took me for a loop! Wasn’t expect their craziness at all. Izzy and his brothers held a tight bond that allowed readers to see the positivity of family. Navy’s dad and mom as well! I was NOT expecting that bomb to drop. Overall, Two Million Reasons Why lived up to its name. The humor was at an all time high and the pace ever slowed down! I’ll definitely be recommending this book to others.

Great read
This was a great read! I really appreciate the length of this book. It kept me interested the whole time while also ensuring I got the whole story in one book. I do think the brothers could possibly give us some spinoffs. I like how everyone was supportive of sobriety except the ones who didn’t mean any good. I also like that Navy was smart, determined, and a strong woman even though at times she was a little naive. Izzy was definitely bae!!!!! I would recommend this book to everyone!

Let me tell you Chenell Parker this here book had a lot of twist and turns but that last one, it got me. Chance got just what he deserved after what her did to Navy. I loved the way Regan was a true friend and I loved how she always there for Navy good or bad. As they old saying goes never judge a book by it's cover and if anyone learned that it was Izzy. I loved the way he loved Navy just a good old fashioned gentleman. He always had her best interest at heart and made sure others did the same. He is definitely one of my top book Bae's.

Tariq got what he deserved. Chance didn’t have to die but oh well! I love me some Izzy! It was a cute love story. I just don’t like that all of her characters always end up pregnant like that’s the highlight of life. Navy and Izzy were great for each other. I loved the way Navy took her time and taught Izzy a thing or two about intimacy and didn't make fun of him. I was also happy that he didn't make the mistake of not telling Navy his problem like he did Sasha, but she wasn't worth it. Regan was a true friend, and Navy was lucky to have her. Team Navy
I love this book. Chance and Diamond were total jerks and got what they deserved. I am liking Izzy, He is Bae! I am glad that Izzy and Navy were able to get over themselves and find love. Tariq is dirty and everyone needs to stay away from him. Regan is a true friend and glad they found each other. This was an awesome story. Loved the plots and the steady pace of the story. Also glad it was a standalone.

I can always count on Chenell for a good read. Navy was dealt a raw deal that she had to see her way out of. Someone can tell you it's bad but it not believable until you recognize it. With this story money isn't the root of all evil. I love old how Izzy loved, big ole teddy bear tail got caught up. Two million Reasons Why is the perfect title for this love story. Izzy was everything a girl could dream off.
