This was one of those lunch time reads that I like to have with me for a fast read. It gave me just the right amount of sexy and sassy to help me make it through my day. I didnt know that there was a part one to this series so I will have to make sure that I keep up on it but it didnt stop me from enjoying this episode.

So he's spent all of this time up until this point talking and thinking about how good Devin's pussy is, and how hot her tits and ass are, and then he turns to his friend and says,
“She’s the quiet in my chaos that my life has become. I crave her and it"
and I'm cracking up because that's ridiculous and totally unsupported by anything we've seen thus far. Then, at the end of this confession, he caps things off with,
“Can we please be done with this bitch talk for the night?”
and I'm wondering, is this a joke?
Also, can we talk about Brielle trying to control Devin and Sebastian's relationship? I'm getting a little sick of the whole "being controlling and needlessly manufacturing drama under the guise of being zany" shtick she has going on. Although I would never have lasted this long in a friendship with Brielle in the first place, because compulsively waking someone up early in their day off is grounds to get shanked in my book. So it's possible I might be a little harsh.
I've been tired of Devin's indecision regarding Sebastian, but this book pushed me over the edge. Every step of the way, every indication of commitment she's either already made or might make, she starts panicking. Make a fucking choice and stop being such a jackass about it. No one likes a waffler, Devin.
These sex scenes are starting to wear on me too. The sex is kind of repetitive, and the details sound so fake. Really? Devin pauses their desperate need to fuck to slowly remove each piece of clothing in a sexy striptease? Every time? And the clothes she's taking off are not sexy stripping clothes. Taking them off doesn't look graceful, it looks unwieldy as hell. And by the way, Devin's apparently only had super boring missionary position sex before Sebastian, but she acts waay too experienced with all of this from their first encounter. Also, their dirty talk feels totally unnatural to me.
" 'Do you want my cock, Devin?' My voice is hoarse and does nothing to hide my desire.
'Yes. More than my next breath.' ”
On another note, how are they going to try to keep their relationship under wraps, but think nothing of coming into work together every fucking day?

One Regret picks up right where One Taste ends. Devin is regretting giving in to her desires and having sex with Brooks. Brooks is confused as to why Devin is holding herself at a distance.
Book two did move their story forward. Devin comes to understand that Brooks does not have a girlfriend. And that he is honestly in like with her. He is pushing her to give him, really them, a chance. Devin is so consumed and worried that by allowing herself to be with Devin it will come back to her hurt her career. Devin has worked so hard to make a success of her career that this one misstep can ruin it.
Brooks is so laid back about their connection once Devin decides she is willing to purse it he takes her where she is at. She doesn’t want to go public about it. She is really keeping him at arm’s length from her friends and family. But Devin seems to accept it because he just wants to be with her.
I really like Brooks. He is so infatuated with Devin that he is willing to give anything for the chance to be with her. While he doesn’t use the world love and hasn’t come to the realization that he loves her, yet he does seem to know she matters. He does have a few swoony moments and you are totally rooting for him.
Devin is a little hard to have warm fuzzy feelings about. While she is likable, and I understand her concerns she is so caught up in her head it is almost not enjoyable to read. But steam sex scene, especially in a car while driving, make up for her wishy-washy behaviors.
Book 2 of course ends with another cliff hanger, I can’t wait for book 3. I am curious how and if they end up with HEA. This was a 4/5 read for me. Mostly because of Devin’s lack of enthusiasm for a relationship with Brooks, even though she claims to have feelings for him. She is still hiding him and from him. It makes it a very frustrating read.

The lust, sex and drama continues with One Regret by K.A. Berg. This fast-paced ongoing story-line is a quick read that will keep even the most prolificate readers entertained. This installment is told by Devin the female character that has everything to lose. I truly enjoyed the first two stories (One Taste and One Regret) and can’t wait for One Touch to be released. I give One Regret 5-stars.

One Regret is the second book in The "One" Series, so you MUST READ One Taste (Book 1) FIRST, as it's a continuation. In this story, we get Devin's side in the meeting between her & Sebastian, and a bit further along in the story after she comes aboard as the interim CEO. It's another fast paced novella, with a big side of sexy in the midst of a lot more drama. See, he's determined to keep chasing her, while she wants to keep him at arms length, in order to not mess up her dream job that will make her resume prettier. I LOVED hearing her side, because when I hear both sides, I'm more invested. Obviously, their chemistry is still off the charts HOT, with a super sexy time that will light the office on fire. And there's more humor this time in the midst of all the chaos. Of course this dynamic duo left me hanging again, so the third installment cannot come out quickly enough as I'm 100% hooked. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

While Sebastian continues to woo Devin, it becomes more obvious that if they are found out about their relationship, that her career is at risk. But then, has Sebastian painted a target on Devin's back with the maybe stalker getting around trying to ruin him?

One Regret is a cliffy that will choke the reader on their own saliva. That's a check if ever I've heard one. Let's hope that Devin and Brooks get the actual checkmate though.

Short and oh so dirty .. told from Devin's point of view. She is one sassy chick and I love watching her go toe to toe with Sebastian. Sebastian is a prick and won't let there one night go and thats all Devin wants. He finally gets his way and of course she regrets it instantly. I’m hooked
My only regret is not knowing this story was comprised of 3 separate books. I wish it had been made into one book, and the lines were not so repetitive. There are moments when a sentence is basically reworded in the next great, and doesn’t have a bold impact factor. I’m committed now, so onto the final book in the trilogy!

Dev and Sebastian move on
Devin keeps resisting Sebastian but he knows it's meant to be. He will continue to press on. Until his mom says I passing sometimes you cant demand and push. This book picks up right where the last one left off. I cannot even explain how hot these two are together. So much chemistry...
The characters are perfect. Devin is feisty and sassy and Sebastian is everything that is good, cocky, and delicious.
Looking forward to finding out more of who is behind everything that is happening to them both.

Really good
Second book in the series, brilliant, who is it???????? How could they, gripping story, good characters, I do think there should be Maddie and Jax's story and Mark and Brie's story. Can not wait to see what happens in the last book.
