In her last moments, Queen Latrix revealed that Nyx’s mother, Dani, was alive, and held captive by the Night Lord, the Whisperer.
Nyx has one mission now, to hunt the Whisperer down and save her mother. But she needs Nero to help her.
Nero, with his trusty enchanted Shotgun, takes on Nyx’s mission without question. Since saving her, they have become inseparable, and Nero is always up for kicking more zombie ass.
Kat, former harem member of the now dead queen, and skilled swordswoman, joins the Road Knights, adding complications to Nero’s life.
Cryptus and his servant Runt also accompany them, keen to confront the Whisperer as well, but why?
Life is getting more complex for the Road Knights, but they have a clear mission now, and the open road ahead of them. Adventure awaits.

The road (more or) less travelled
Nero and Nyx continue their journey: making allies, killing enemies, and discovering more about Nyx’s mother as they travel. We also learn more about the Cataclysm and see more of the post-apocalyptic world they live in. The ending is tense and enthralling won’t a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. Bring on Determination!

Love these books
Love the mad max world and the characters. Not having read the authors other series there is a slight lack of understanding for the magic system and world but it is being revealed well enough. Nice cliff hanger at end so if course waiting impart for next book.

Great folllw up
An action increase and a lot of fun to write as we get answers to some of those burning questions that we all wanted to learn about. The writing also gets even saucier than before which suits the time.

Disappointed
The story is a fun read, but misspelled words make my eyes go into an uncontrolled skid. Read it to keep up w the series, maybe there will be a 3.1

Superb as always. Queen Latrix reveals before she dies that Nyx’s Mother is alive. Now there’s a mission to find her. Fast paced. Magnificent
