My students have been asking for books about food. So when I ran across this one book to review and receive free for my library I said well ok, this one looks cool. Cool doesn't even describe how well written this book is.
I wish I had the full set of this Favorite Food series for my library because they really are perfect for students who like to read where food comes from or just general information about them.

These books are future ready, with QR codes on the pages to watch videos as you read. HOW FUN! Each page is easy to read for young students, the photographs are yummy, and there are plenty of text features for students to learn as they read.

The book includes a page for making connections (text to self, text to text, text to world, glossary, index, and an online resource to popbooksonline.com to learn more.

I saw that the series includes chicken nuggets, french fries, hamburgers, ice cream cones, pizza, spaghetti, and tacos. I need these! Time to go through my budget!
