Unlike some other Lego brand activity books that I've read through, this book features plot threads that form a continuous story line through the various activity pages. This overarching plot feature is something that I think readers will appreciate, even though the story does end on a bit of a cliffhanger. Overall, I feel the book is entertaining and engaging for what it is. Considering that Ninjago isn't even one of my favorite Lego themes, this is a considerable compliment.
Did I like it? Yes.
Would I reread it? Although I am not the target audience for this book, I thought the 'Comics' section was pretty funny and would be worth revisiting.
Would I recommend it? Yes.
