A really good parenting book. Of course, as I always say, take everything with a grain of salt, but take what you can and apply it! Very good read, especially in today's society of entitlement! I have created some omnipotent, entitled children and I'm working on fixin' that, thanks to some of the techniques in this book.

An excellent book if you find yourself in this situation. The subsequent book written chronologically is his Rearing the Preschool child, which prevents omnipotence and should be read first if you have a preschool child.

This is a good book. It can't be used alone. Along with every parenting book, it is just the opinion of a select few. It gives excellent ideas when dealing with a strong willed child.
