A nice variety of family activities with offerings for both restful and relaxing pursuits as well as busy and active opportunities. Every family member, young and old, will find something that appeals to them and even some activities that appeal in a different way than another family member. For instance, one person might simply enjoy the beautiful and scenic vistas of Spearfish Canyon, while a more ambitious nature lover may wish to hike one or more of the trails. This straightforward, easily read book provides a good overview of attractions and is a nice resource for planning your trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota.

This was the most helpful guide to anything an adventurer would want to do in South Dakota from dinosaurs to Mount Rushmore and more. Even though most of the tourist areas are centered in the very far left of the state and it would take an entire day of travel to reach, to journey out west would be a grand vacation filled with wonder nonetheless.

Excellent resource if planning a trip to the Black Hills. Great detail, and advice on what to see. This book is going to be very helpful when we travel there in May!
