I love diversity in fiction and happy endings, and this book has both! I enjoyed some stories more than others (the April and October chapters were my favourites!) but overall this was a nice, relaxing read.

I really loved the inclusion in these stories.

It doesn't matter if you identify as queer or not, there are many beautiful lessons to be learned in each of them. All were heartwarming and I found myself having a hard time deciding which was my favorite. Jaime S.T. does a great job of setting up relatable characters in each of these short stories--which is no small feat as it's infamously hard in short stories.

If I was able to, I would rate this 3.5 stars. This is purely because of the grammar and a couple other small mistakes I saw in it. It seems like it could use a good edit to polish it. Then again, I read an ARC copy--it may have just been mine, so I give it a benefit of the doubt and the full four stars.

My favorites were October: Wings because I love elements of fantasy as well as November: Routines, though its very hard to choose one as they all seemed to have similar quality across the board.

If you love short stories with representation, you should check this anthology out :)

This collection of short stories was heart-warming and inspiring. Identity is so important to who we are. How we define ourselves. The characters feel real, like you could bump into them at your local coffee shop or walking down the street. Definitely recommend.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of The Peacock Bottle from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This one was interesting and compassionate for the most part. I think understood the goal of the author. The separate stories were very well thought out and seemed to encompass A GLIMPSE of most identities. I do believe the struggles of these folks are much more complicated and more all-inclusive of their entire lives than just the clips of time selected for these short stories. I think this was a very rose-colored vision of the lives of some people in these situations. (Just the one with the wings did not seem to fit, and I am not sure of the point of that one. ?)

Thank you to NetGalley and Jaimi S.T. for the ARC.
