Couples of Haven #2

The Alpha's Foxy Omega

A Haven MM Mpreg Shifter Romance

Never giving up doesn't mean you have to go it alone. After his family is taken by the red dragons Locus allows his fox to take over, vowing to stay in fox form and search for them until they are found. Hours turn into days turn into years until he is all but feral when his foot is caught in a rusty bear trap-an agonizing accident that inadvertently saves his life. Alpha Felix loves his job as a veterinarian. Everything is about the animals with people taking a back seat. His gifts allow him to care for his furry, feathered, and scaly patients in a way no one else can but he never dreams his gift will be needed to save his future mate. When a call comes in about an injured animal, Felix wastes no time rushing to the scene. He immediately senses the fox in the bear trap is special, but just how special even he can't begin to guess. Sparks fly and passion runs strong, leaving the two men in love and Locus so very pregnant. Maybe he needs to accept that his family is going and move forward with everything his new life has to offer...but he can't, his family is out there somewhere. Can Locus and Dr. Felix save his family while keeping their own safe? The Alpha's Foxy Omega is a super sweet with a little knotty heat mpreg shifter romance with two smexy foxes and an adorable baby and a few familiar faces from the town of Haven but can be read alone.

A vet & an injured fox stuck on his fur: fated mates?

Welcome back to the world of Haven. I love it here! This segment features alpha fox vet Felix and omega fox Locus. On the run for years Locus is stuck in his fur; until his alpha, his fated alpha, commands his shift. Old friends make an appearance. A quest is fulfilled. Family is reunited. And a darling baby will steal your heart. This is a sweet, low angst, HEA book. You will become as invested in the characters and this world as I am. Get. It. Now. Oh, and I recommend reading the other books in this series in order. You will be glad you did.
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Family means everything!

A silly young fox, is saved because he is slow. Years later this same fox is on deaths door, guilt has taken its toll and he feels like he has nothing going you live for.
A vet, who is also a loving get alpha, steps in to save the poor injured fox. Little does he know this little fox is his mate, who has been through so much pain and suffering that he just wants it over.

Between the two of them they fight to build a relationship together. While never giving up on finding Locus missing get family. A great story, for a quiet evening read!

I love distance

And these stories are exactly what I need. Short fun reads with the right mixture of story and sexy time. I liked that we get to see foxes and deer shifters in this one it’s a nice change. My only complaint is when hey first find out their pregnant Felix tells him he can’t shift because foxes are to small. Then they go on a vacation and shift??

Other than the random words that the editing missed, I felt like someone cut the book off before the last chapter. I would have liked to see an epilogue of some sort. As it was, the ending felt very abrupt.

I loved the fact that there was a decent lying plot behind all of the fluffy romance. While not majorly fleshed out, it was present and helpful in developing the characters interactions and personal characteristics.

Lost

Locus has been lost in his omega fox form for a long time. He gets hurt and ends up outside of Haven. Felix is the vet that's called to fix him. Thing is, they're mates.

When Locus’s family is taken by the red dragons he vows to stay in fox form until he finds his family. Years later still searching he gets caught in a bear trap. When taken to the vet he meets Alpha Felix immediately recognizing him as his mate. The problem now is Locus can no longer shift finding communication difficult. Locus realizing staying in fox form was a mistake. Turning human is an accomplishment, getting pregnant is great news, but not finding his family causes sadness.

Spoilers/Thoughts:
Though I enjoyed Locus and Felix’s relationship I felt that Locus fell pregnant way to soon. Finding Locus’s family until the very end didn’t give much satisfaction. I would have loved more scenes with Locus’s family and to find out what happened during those 8 years they were being held by the red dragons.
