This was truly an amazing study! I took my time with it because I really wanted to absorb what Shirer revealed in this study. It transformed a lot of my thinking, takes those "elementary" concepts learned in childhood and matured them into deep, life-altering elements of the daily walk. The Armor of God delves into spiritual warfare, and that was pretty illuminating.
(Also ... why have I never thought to add my non-fiction reads/studies to my book list here? Ha!)

This is one of the best Bible studies I have ever done with high school girls! It has been so eye-opening for them to realize how the enemy specifically targets us, and how God has given us specific tools to protect ourselves and fight back. Throughout this study, they seem to be much more aware of God's work in their life as well as more able to discern the distractions, temptations, etc. the enemy is throwing at them. Naming them gives them power over him, and they are better able to live in their true identity as daughters of the King! At an age where it is so easy to listen to and believe the lies of the enemy, this study can be life-changing for teen girls. I highly recommend it!

This is a good study. It has not been modified that much for students.
