Fantastic!!!!
This was a re-read for me and then I realised I had not left a review before. There is a reason this was a re-read, Jeanne St James is an incredible writer and even with this early work, the talent and storytelling ability is abundantly clear. These stories are filled with fantastic characters who draw you in, phenomenal storylines that keep the pages turning, amazing smexy NSFW scenes (so good) and the indication of a HEA. If you want a completely tied up ending, you’ll be disappointed. The implication is definitely there but we don’t know for sure. Not a deal breaker for me. Absolutely loved these novellas!!!

Wow, this is an awesome collection of smoking hot stories. Each book is a standalone, I love that all their descriptions start off with “It’s not just a love story, it’s an obsession”. Each book is well written and well told, they are novella sized books but Jeanne St. James managed to fit a lot of story into each one, lots of hot sexy times too. The first book “Forever Him” is Lila & Kane’s story. Lila is an author who hangs out in the same coffee shop each day, she has a muse who comes in everyday for coffee, she never actually met or spoke to him and only knows him as Kane with a K. Until one day when she blurts something out or did she? I loved how this story played out and the great twist at the end was unexpected and well done. The second book “Only Him” is Sidney Ryan and Reid F’ing Turner’s story, Sidney’s HS crush Reid moves right next door to her after divorcing his HS sweetheart. Their story plays out great too, smoking hot and some great kink. The third book “Needing Him” is Grace & Nick’s story, Nick is a loner, a lost soul, he rents a cabin at Grace’s resort the same time each year. Grace is lonely herself and this year she has a plan to seduce him. I loved how their story plays out too and to find out why Nick is such a loner and lost soul was heartbreaking. But l think Grace was just what he needed. The fourth book “Loving Her” is Noah and Bree’s story and it is a great second chance romance. Noah and Bree were each others first, young teens at the time it was not their time. Now as adult it is their time. I liked how they aired out their thoughts about their feelings back then, what she saw and what their new relationship will be like. Great chemistry between them and lots of heat. The fifth book “Tempting Him” is Skylar & Cade’s story, neighbors who share a past and they did not even know it. Skylar crushed on Cade and finally gets him where she wanted him in her bed. Love the back story of these characters, is it karma, fate or just a small world. I loved and enjoyed each book, each story drew me in right from the start and held my attention throughout. I liked how each book had it’s own unique story, characters and storylines, the common factor was it’s obsession them and the hot romance and kink. Jeanne St. James, thank you for these awesome stories.
I listened to the Audible edition, Ava Lucas, Aaron Shedlock and Teddy Hamilton are awesome narrators and voice artists. They did a great job portraying the characters and bringing them to life, giving them their voices and personality. You could hear how much heart each one put into their work as they captured and projected the characters emotions and passion into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this awesome listen🎧

This is a box set of short, steamy romance novellas. They are hot and definitely play out like penthouse letters, but with a better story line. There were some that seemed too short and I wanted the story to be extended because I liked the characters, but there was one (Forever Him) that just played out too fast and it really came off as a made up fantasy for me. I loved that a couple of the stories had role reversals for the dom/sub relationships that are most common in romance stories. There were a couple where the men were the dominate alphas that we are all used to reading about, but two of the stories had the woman in charge as the dom which is a great change up. This was my first time listening to a Jeanne St. James book but I will definitely be giving one of her full length books a try!
The narrators were all amazing for these novellas! The stories were hot on their own but bring Teddy Hamilton and Aaron Shedlock into the mix and it becomes even sexier! Ava Lucas narrated in all of the novellas, but there was only 1 story where she was the sole narrator otherwise she co narrated with Teddy and Aaron.

I need more......I so want to throw a tantrum right now. WTH Jeanne?!? There had better be more to this book. The hotness of this book is set to volcanic! I definitely need a Kane with a K!!

This is the best way to read the novellas, one after the other. They are all stand alone stories, but boy do they leave you wanting more. These were great stories for waiting in line, or at doctor's appointment. I love to listen to a story all at once and these fit that bill. Just because they are short, does not mean that they are not steamy, hot. Jeanne St. James always delivers wonderful characters and amazing stories. She packs so much into each one of these as well.
Teddy Hamilton, Ava Lucas and Aaron Shedlock, how can you go wrong. These three are guaranteed to melt your earbuds with their performances. They really bring these stories to life and leave you wanting so much more. This series was a fun listen.

Definitely obsessed!
These short stories are good as individuals but as a box set it’s like listening to the same story over and over again with a variation in the storyline. That said, they are hot, sexy & a bit erotic with chemistry that’s on fire. I just prefer my hot & sexy with a little more storyline to go with it.
The narration was absolutely fantastic. All 3 narrators performed each character brilliantly.
If you’re in need of a quickie then I recommend this box set.

Wow, there is a little of everything in this compilation of five sizzling novellas. Each story is a standalone about different couples that made me laugh, cry, and every emotion in between. I loved that each character felt real, each story and obsession was unique, challenging my imagination.
Narrators, Teddy Hamilton, Ava Lucas, and Aaron Shedlock were so perfect to give voice to these characters, making me care for them all in a short time. They easily brought out all their emotions, making me feel all their desires, vulnerabilities, and passion. They took my breath away with a few plot twists, and made these stories even more fun, emotional, and sizzling hot!

Super hot novella collection
This novella collection was my first into to Jeanne St. James. All the stories were entertaining and super steamy. I really appreciated the ones where the female got to be more dominate. It’s a book I’d come back to when I was between longer novels and wanted to read something guaranteed to be short, entertaining, and super steamy. I’ll be checking out more of St. James’ books in the future.

These were sexy little stories with a storyline. I have to say the way the last novella ended was abrupt and unsatisfying. For such an interesting plot I felt cheated by how it ended.
