Dr. Enes Karić is a Bosnian author and an Islamic Scholar. Karić earned his B.A. at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, M.A. at the University of Sarajevo, and Ph.D. at Belgrade University; he also studied at al-Azhar University, Yale University, and the University of Oxford. During the term of 1994-96 he served as a Minister for Education, Science, Culture and Sports. He is a member of the advisory journals for Islamic Studies (Pakistan), as well as American Journal of Social Sciences (Herndon, SAD). He was chosen in 2002. as an active member of the King's Academy (Alu l-Bayt in Jordan). He held discussions, wrote essays, translated various works from Arabic and English to Bosnian, wrote articles and commentaries in numerous newspapers and magazines.
