I guess I just was in a mind for smth a bit more advanced. Especially along the conceptuals of accounting, general principles, etc. Not just telling me a balance balances. Which it usually does but I sorta *ahem* expected that.

I abandoned this book pretty quickly. It lacked the technical rigor that I was looking for, and used over-simplified examples.
