A delightful blending of poetry and painting. For those who have gone down to the sea by boat or on foot, who have smelled the wet on the rock, the sea in the sand, who have pulled the oar or hawser or tipped catch into the scale, who have seen the water and shore blend into a swirl of color under a bright sun, or felt the cold grey fog crawl under hat and coat and into boot, these pictures and poems will have special import. The landlubber can read and gaze here and find a taste of sea and island.
