This was labeled as a side-by-side book, meaning that there is text for both the child and the adult to read. I wasn’t sure my four-year-old would be able to handle the text for kids, but he did a great job with just a little help from me! I would be interested in finding more of these kinds of books as he progresses as a reader.

This was a great book to introduce my little one to horses. The information was succinct but interesting, and the pictures were wonderful quality. My preschooler especially liked the part about how horses “talk.”
