Little better than a coffee table book

Even if your library is full of similar books, each one brings uniqueness and a different view to your understanding of “Art Treasures in the British Isles.”
The endpapers give overlaying maps of the various treasure locations. The pages are well-referenced. There are plenty of color plates. Some of the highlights are
The introduction by Sir Philip Hendy
Celtic art objects
Man famous and infamous structures through the ages.

History is more interesting than objects.
