When the stakes are your happily ever after, flirt your butt off.

Sexy landscape architect, TJ is stunned when Megan reveals she’s sweet on a player. Worse yet, he warns her off of her horrific plan. Will Megan’s plan be a sizzling success or a spectacular disaster?

Enjoy this laugh-out-loud romance today to see if Megan’s lip-locking wildest dreams do come true.

“Angie Speed has a gift for comedy…the characters are wonderful, fleshed out, TJ and Megan are perfect together, but I gotta say, I love Megan’s mom. What a hoot. Excellent job. Romance comedy at its best!” – Nancy Schumacher, Publisher Mélange Books

Sweet and simple right from the start, Megan and TJ are obviously perfect for one another but both think they've got zero chance with the other. With only a week to make a play for the player, Megan goes all out to catch TJ's attention. But his obliviousness might mean he misses out on forever with a best friend who could be his best partner.

I like that she made him work for her affections but I did feel like she gave in too soon. Needed more groveling for sure. Megan was quirky and cute while TJ was humorously blind until it became hurtful. I've never been a fan of "You know why I'm a player? I'm too much of a coward to tell the girl I love that I love her. Also, I'm too blind to notice that she can't actually lie or hide her feelings so I should totally have known she loved me too. But because of all that I'll still date and sleep with lots of women knowing she can witness my appalling dating habits." Yet that's always the way these stories play out...

Aside from that, it was kept very simply allowing the couple to move from friends to more quickly without too much drama. The list was a cute device to move the plot along and watching him be oblivious was actually kind of cute and humorous until it became painful to imagine how Megan was feeling, realizing that she didn't stand a chance before he came to his senses.

Megan and TJ sitting in a tree...They've been the best of friends for so long and loving each other but each feeling that the other was out of their reach. That is, until Megan decides that she has to do something about her love for TJ right now. She lets him in on her supposed plan to land herself a man who is known to be a player and he really is worried and the beginning bites of jealousy start in his mind. There are moments in this story that will have you laughing out loud and others shaking your head with "Why can't they see each other??" A fun book about a couple who are perfect for each other by Angie Speed who is a new author to me but one that I will be looking forward to reading more of her stories as I enjoyed this sweet story so much. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended

Megan Doll has been in love with her best friend TJ for years. But he’s a player, a “tomcat” her mom calls him. And she’s afraid that if she tells him how she feels she’ll lose his friendship forever. She gets a job opportunity to work in an art gallery on Grand Marais and she has 7 days to decide whether or not to accept the job, so she gives herself this time to show TJ how she feels. Will she win him over before it’s too late or lose him forever? Plenty of laugh out loud moments ensue as Megan uses seven steps to get TJ’s oblivious attention. My only criticism was the book was too short.

Megan Doll fell in love with her best friend, TJ, years ago. Now that they are both past 29, it is time to see if she can convince him she wants to be more than friends. Megan’s mother cheers her on and tries her best to help Megan to achieve her goal, often with unpredictable results.
When Megan tries to move forward, TJ misunderstands because he has always thought she only wanted to be friends. This story is hilarious – I mean laughing until your husband thinks you have gone around the bend funny! Thank you, Angie, for making my day!

This story left me sighing “awe!” so often. It’s also absolutely wicked funny. I found this story to be just like the triple chocolate cookies Meg bakes for TJ: a sweet little morsel of ooey gooey goodness. The only thing I want now that I’ve read Meg and TJ’s story is more. I am not at all ready to put this adorable, angst-riddled couple back on the shelf.

A heart warming, romantic and oh so funny story. It is a story once you start on it you don't want to quit. First one of hers I have read and it won't be the last. Can't wait to read another one. She loves her best friend, but doesn't want to ruin it with telling him what her feelings are. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

She wants him so much. He is her best friend and she asks him for advice pretending it is about someone else. He warns her not to do it but she does it. This is so funny in places. See if her plans will flat on her face of will she get her man

I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet short story. Megan has a week to catch her Tomcat. The steps she took had me laughing and the more clueless TJ was, the funnier things became. Although there was a lot of humor, there was also a bit of sadness and I did tear up in one spot. I haven't read this author before but I look forward to reading more by her in the future.

Megan has had a crush on TJ forever and she is is done waiting for him to make a move so she takes matters into her own hands and basically makes him realize what he is missing. Very short story.

This is the first book I’ve read by Angie Speed and it won’t be the last. How to Catch a Tomcat in 7 Days is a fun, fast paced romance that I read from cover to cover in one sitting.

Megan is in love with her best friend, TJ, but is afraid that telling him would ruin their friendship. She sets up a seven-day plan to seduce him but has already made plans to accept an out of town job if it fails.

I loved reading about her efforts, and the advice she is given by her mother made me laugh. There are delicious innuendos that keep this story sexy without explicit detail. The characters are fun and well developed. Pick up a copy to see how TJ responds to Megan’s seduction plans. Will they have a happily-ever-after? You won’t know for certain until you reach the end!

I received a free copy of this short story, but my review is strictly voluntary. All opinions expressed are my own.
