In this universe of words, that technology has given access to, content is no big deal. Information is at our finger tips and everyone is an author. In such a world what does it mean to be an author, a bestselling one at that?
Who better to tell us this than India's Number 1, bestselling author of the Chanakya series Dr Radhakrishnan Pillai who will handhold you through how to write, what to look out for and how to make those numbers crunch.
Every book is hard to write. But what really makes a difference is how to write a book that it will sell, really sell.
Cash-grab garbage book! The details in this book are minimal and the author doesn't even tell you what medium to use on how to write your book! The information in this book is definitely not adequate. You want to know how to make your book a bestseller? Lie to people and make a catchy title like this and people will come running to buy your books. Very disappointed with this book, it was clearly meant to entice people into buying a lot of copies and filling the pockets of the author. The author is a sell-out and keeps bragging about his achievements and how many copies of his books he sold. This book is not beginner friendly, the only thing you will be learning is surface level trite knowledge. The author keeps making references to his own books and how well it is doing instead of giving us useful information and at the end he goes on to recommend his workshop. You think I don't know what you are doing? This book is a damn shame and the author should be ashamed to have written this. 2/5 stars. Do not read this because it is a waste of time. Just read some articles on the internet. It's a better use of your time and you will learn a lot more than this crappy book.
While I found the book quite useful, I felt few things could have been slightly more elaborative. - How do you plan the storyboarding - How to conduct research and overcome various fears while writing - Approaching publishers in a more planned way
I hope there is a revised version with more details -
I love the way the author has explained the writing process. The writer's block to bookselling each and every aspect of writing the book has been covered in detail.
