The first half of this book was great. As a relative newcomer to the keto diet, there were lots of encouraging tips and explanations of the science behind the concepts. I thought that a big disadvantage of the book was in the recipes section where food values are not given for each recipe. Many beginners like me need to stay on track by using apps to track food intake until we are more familiar with the diet and these recipes, delicious as they sound, don’t give the information needed to incorporate them into my diet.
this book is easy to read has full page pictures and reeks of yumminess of what I want to try considering the 150 recipes I should certainly be able to learn, cook and eat it. Pinks my favourite colour this month and I like the front cover of the book just scattered coconut, berries, spoon...
An excellent start up guide to a diet which intrigues and still baffles me. First time ever in my life I have attempted to follow an eating plan as such. Three weeks in and still waiting for results. Early days perhaps. This book can be overly technical. More research required.
