Action, action, and MORE action...

Yowza!! What a ride!! Brooklyn definitely starts coming into her own as th first female dragon in this book. Her guys each teach her new parts to this gig. Slowly she starts to learn the ropes of being a Pride Leader. I'm not sure if this is the final book of the series, but I can see how it could continue. I for one REALLY want t learn a out this prophecy, and the drawing that came to life with Brooklyn's magic. Curious is an understatement. Noelle acts as their eyes and ears in the Academy....my how I love that girl...and she has a few surprises in store herself 😀. This book.is a out Brooklyn and her guys solidifying their bond, and about her becoming the leader she is meant to be.... but to me it still feels like the start of something bigger. There's TONS of action, betrayal, mystery, prophecy, dragons galore and family. Here's hoping there are more books to come!!

Dragon Protectors is an exciting, action packed ending to an engaging series. Brooklyn and her guys are back and she’s putting everything on the line to do what’s right for her pride and for all of dragonkind. Filled with the characters we’ve come to love, a few interesting new characters, and a new nefarious plot by the evil Allister, Dragon Protectors is a well done and thrilling conclusion to the series. My one minor criticism is that the ending seemed slightly abrupt and for a moment I thought the conclusion would be coming in another book, then the climax was reached and it was over. It didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the book, rather it was just a little surprising. This was definitely a worthy read for anyone who enjoys dragons, magic and a reverse harem format.

Dragon Protectors was a great conclusion to the Slayers & Protectors series. After revealing her true nature Brooklyn has a lot to deal with in coming to terms with her new role as Pride Leader. And it definitely won’t be easy when a slayer council member decides to take drastic action against her and the dragons, labeling her a traitor and forcing her into hiding. From here Brooklyn really learns to embrace her new life with the help of her protectors as each of their relationships forms deeper bonds. I wasn’t a big fan of McQueen in book two, but as his character is explored more in book three, I grew to really like him, although Staten will always be my favorite out of the bunch. He’s just so sweet. There were a few things I would have like to have seen explored more, but overall this was a really great read with a satisfying ending. Well done, Ms. Van Risseghem.

Good ending

There is a lot that happens in this book and at the same time I wish another book was coming out after this. The book has a satisfying ending I just want more. If you loved the first two books you will love this one.

I will admit to a deep and abiding bias: I’ve never met her but I absolutely adore Kristin D. Van Risseghem. Don’t worry, I’m not a stalker or anything (other than on kindle), but I am an totally addicted to writers who are consistently wonderful. That describes this author, and I’m qualified to say this as I think I’ve read all she’s written. Dragon Protectors (both the novel and the series, Slayers & Protector, that it’s the third book of) is a perfect example of that. Wonderful world-building, perfectly crafted lead and supporting characters (certainly Brooklyn and her guys, but the rest too) and a perfectly plotted and written story. Really you simply cannot go wrong with this book (though you do need to read books 1&2 first). But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

Wow, I loved this book. The author has that magic that grips you from the very start of the book and keeps you turning the pages. I didn't want to put this book down. It had a really good original storyline with well developed believable characters that kept me guessing on what was going to happen. I could write so much about this book but I hate when reviewers give away the plot and spoil it for new readers. This book is for over 18s as there is some heat within the pages that involve M/F/M. Picks up after book 2. Brooklyn has been outed as a Dragon and secured a promise of land and a treaty from the Slayer Council. However, some are not happy about it. Brooklyn has to leave school for her own safety, but the guys stay behind. They make plans to go on a trip, but one doesn't make it.
Things come to a head rather quickly, and it could be an all out war. Brooklyn and friends are trying to save a friend, but also don't want war.
This one wrapped up nicely, and if there are no more books in this world that is ok. However, I would love to read more for sure. I want more from Declan and Noelle especially.

This is the continuation of Brooklyn;s journey from dragon hunter to dragon savior. She is fleeing the Academy because she;s been labeled a traitor and the killer of slayers. Confused, feeling less than confident in her abilities. Her dragon protectors try to help her as best they can until the unthinkable happens..one of the protectors is captured and is being used to as bait. What;s a girl to do!!??
WOW! My heart is still racing from this story. Will you enthralled till the last page.

Brooklyn has been given the magic of a dying Pride Leader, bequeathed with that position. She tries to show the Slayers Council a peaceful solution to the dragon vs slayer feud, and shifts to her dragon to make a point. Only one man disagrees, and boy does he cause trouble. Since the man is also the leader of the slayer school, he subverts his students into breaking the peace. Full of fast paced action with a great plot and characters, I truly enjoyed it!

The proposed truce has fallen through and now the students and faculty of York Academy are trying to find technological advances to capture or kill the dragons. Even Noelle, her best friend from York, is acting as a spy to gather information from the remaining students still at Slayer School. After one of her boys is captured and tortured, the war for her very survival and those of her protectors is now eminent.

This is the third book in the Slayers & Protectors series and picks up where book two ended. All I gotta say is WOW this action packed conclusion to this series kept me on the edge of my seat. Brooklyn and her boys have plenty of action to keep them busy when one of the slayer council members labels her a traitor. I love how the author added in the true loyalty of friends, and that is all I will give towards a spoiler. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

Another dragon is added to Brooklyn's group. Will he be another love or just a protector? I did miss Bronx in the majority of the book. Brooklyn and the guys did not stay in one place long and made a trip overseas to another Pride Leader. Lots of action in this one. The ending did leave some opening for more books but did end well. Kristin really changed my mind on reverse harems and now I love them. I received an ebook and provided a review voluntarily.

This is the 3rd book to the Slayers and Protector series and wow what an ending, it was absolutely fantastic. I loved all of the characters it’s an exciting action packed story and I want more so I will be keeping my eyes out for more from this author. If you loved books 1 and 2 then you will definitely love this one like I do. A 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Pretty good

I like the way things ended for the school and relationships, but it just seems like the ending was a little abrupt. Once the final showdown occurs it reads more like a narrative than a story. There are no more conversations, just “person A did this, person B did that, we all do this - The End.” Would have preferred a little more communication and seeing the culmination of the relationships than the list of things checked off.

I really enjoyed getting back into the world of Brooklyn . There’s a lot of crazy stuff happening to her and her protectors and the time is running out.
I love how she doesn't just give in and take the easy out.
The characters are interesting and full of life. Good amount of plot twists as well.

This book returns to the land of dragons and the world of Brooklyn. She has become a force of her own. Intrigue, mystery, betrayal, magic and love were the drawing factors for me which drove this book into a whole other realm from similar books. This whole series has been a joy to read.
