This is a great set of books for young teens!
Corin and Diego are not the most popular kids in school. In fact other than one another they have few friends in school. That changes when, running through the woods from bullies, a stranger, Desmond, helps them get away.
Finding how similar all their interests are, it seems crazy that they haven't met before. Corin and Diego are history buffs, something few kids their age appreciate. Desmond not only shares their love of history, his parents are archaeologists, or treasure hunters, as he prefers to think of them.
They are helping to open an exhibit of their one finds in Rome. The siblings are astonished when they get invited along on this trip, and are even more surprised when their parents agree.
This curious trio get up to much more than just a summer vacation in the historic city!
Part 2
The continuing adventure of three young history buffs in Rome. Turn your kids on to the excitement of history.
While exploring an off limits area of a museum in Rome, this adventurous trio stumbled upon a treasure map. If they are right and can follow the clues, it should lead them to an undiscovered treasure that belonged to Julius Caesar.
It would be a huge undertaking for anyone, but these kids don't exactly have free reign over their travels. They have a team of security guards to either enlist in the adventure or evade. Plus the clues are in Latin. Fortunately a kindly priest helps them translate the clues.
They aren't the only ones searching for this treasure. A shady historian would rather follow the kids to the gold, and he isn't interested in sharing the credit. This summer vacation suddenly turns very dangerous.
Part 3
A thrilling end to a historical adventure trilogy!
This budding Adventure Guild of young teens are hot on the trail of an ancient mystery. They have managed to convince their security detail to help them in the search for clues. They can't very well travel all around Italy on their own.
Clue by clue they are getting closer to the treasure. What can stop this brilliant trio? Someone else is looking for the same thing, and they don't care if others end up getting hurt, as long as they can claim the prize.
Can these youngsters thwart the would be robbers? It is a race to the end in the mystery of Caesar's Secret.

Terrific Adventurei
I read this trio of books in a little over a week! They are that good. Plenty of good guys and hope they get struck by lightening bad guys. I’ve read close to twenty of this authors books and there is not a clinker in the bunch. I’m an avid reader and I assure you if you like action, history,archeology, and great characters, then Earnest Dempsey’s books will fill the bill.

A wild read into Roman history
The authors developed an excellent tale about the discovery of Julius Caesar's Secret by 3 middle school students who teamed up with 2 security guards and 2 revenge seekers to bring a treasure to the rest of the world

Great story for all ages. Ernest Dempsey is an amazing writer and I truly enjoyed this trilogy he wrote with Chandler Dempsey.
