Donna Schmidt is a neighbor and a sweet person. I felt that I should read her first book. I'm not a fan of vampires, but found this story very interesting. Donna did a lot of research and I learned more about Russian history and vampires. I look forward to her second book. Way to go Donna!

This is a historical -fantasy fiction with a portion of erotica in it. Honestly, it was a guilty pleasure reading this book.

However, it gives me a very WATTPAD vibe even if this has been longed published way before Wattpad was famous.

I loved this book. Quenches the thirst for a more adult vampire love story. Wish I could find more like this one.
