The blind date bridegrooms, Evan and Scott, have made it to their honeymoon in Venice, but the magic of the city cannot completely mask the issues they face back home. Evan's stalled career is threatened by a new boss who is not his biggest fan. His best friend, Mel, has gone missing after a massive meltdown at the wedding. His sister Sally is flying high in her new role as an MP, but will her disintegrating marriage threaten her success? Meanwhile, Scott is concerned by his Nan's failing health and his husband's interest in a beguiling younger man they met in Venice. Even a welcome diversion in the form of a fabulous drag queen competition, judged by their friends Frankie and Derek, has unexpected impacts on their lives. With so many distractions, will Evan and Scott find the time to nurture the fragile bonds that brought them together?
Well this was a surprise. In a bad way. I was so keen in reading this sequel since I wanted to see more of Evan and Scott, learning how they could grow into their fresh marriage and relationship and I was bound to read chapters and chapters of Sally's and Mel's lives I really did not care about. It was a good thing for the first book, just to show me around the MCs' environment and friends and siblings but, actually, now I wanted to see more of the relationship - and fidelity issues, like it is said in the title - of Evan and Scott and not pages and pages of explanations about Sally's excalation into the political stair or Mel's struggles with her rage and gelousy issues. Why was I obliged to read that? I skipped almost all the chapters and even the story about Zach did not click to me as it should have been. So this was a waste of time and money to me. I don't give 1 star just because I am a good person. But I hated this book.
The two bridegrooms, Evan and Scott, go to Venice for their honeymoon. They can't hide their feelings about how they will deal with life when they return home. Evan's career has stalled with a new boss who doesn't like him. Friend Mel had a massive breakdown at the wedding and is now missing. Sister Sally's MP job may result in a broken marriage. And poor Scott is very concerned about his Nan's failing health. And ... Frankie and Derek have impacts on both their lives. How will things balance out? Read this entertaining, meaningful story of mending. Highly recommended.
Loved Commitment Issues and book 2 got me hook line and sinker. And since I am first to review if no other reader has beaten me to it the pressure is great. When I finished 1st one I searched Brady one time looking for more and was absolutely delighted to find number 2 a click away. With no fear of being disappointed it was a easy and wonderful click. I can't imagine anyone finding fault I highly recommend it and am hoping (wink wink) that number 3 is on its way to printer and four on its way to publisher.
I loved Fidelity Issues, the second instalment of the Commitment Issues series even more than the first Novel.
I’m not sure if it’s because I grew to like the characters more, or if the plot was more dynamic in not just focusing on the main couple, but I really enjoyed it.
I’ll definitely be looking out for the third book from Bradley Brady
I enjoyed reading both books in the series. The books are well written and just pulls you in. Mr. Brady has has done a wonderful job of making you care about all the folks in the books. Looking for forward to to reading the next book in the series.
After reading book 1, I was very excited to start this book. I loved reading more about all the characters, New and old. Brilliantly funny again. I read it in 2 days. Wouldn't like to spoil anything about the plot, but wish I could!! Brilliant! Couldn't recommend this book enough. Can't wait to read more from this author. Well done Bradley.
