PI Angel Graham took the job at the request of his pregnant girl friend. An elderly woman, a paraplegic because of a car accident, wants him to find the surviving members of the last class she taught before the wreck that confined her to a wheel chair.

She'd done some of the work herself, but a couple she couldn't find. Some had died, one in Korea, anothe of a heroin overdose in Philadelphia.

And one drowned in a pond in 1943.

Everything led back to that death. She wanted that death explained. it had been ruled an accident, but she didn't believe it. The boy had been a good swimmer and was fully dressed when found.

Angel starts his investigation.

A murderer suddenly begins stalking the people involved and Angel's family as well!
