This was a powerful book. I nearly had tears a couple times and that doesn't usually happen to me. I could see things in my daughters' futures that I could greatly influence if I took the steps to be the one that helps them form a strong identity. This book is heavily focused on the events, ceremonies that can bring on very significant turning points, rites of passage in a daughter's life.

Being a father is serious business, and I'm a believer in business plans to provide direction. This book was the business plan on how to mentor, protect, guide, love, and prepare my daughters for their future. Now I just have to put the plan in action. This book is similar in nature to Robert Lewis' "Raising a Modern Day Knight", addressing the father-son relationship. This was an excellent book!
