Pictures aren't always great.
* On the "One branch. One tree." page, there are clearly multiple branches in view.
* On the "One shovel. One seed." page, we don't see the seed. (And we're in a garden where multiple seeds have obviously been planted.)
* On the "One page. One book" page, it's not obviously one page.
We only see the number one as a word, never the numeral. There are lots of ones to count, though, including some that aren't mentioned in the text.

I liked this book. It shows that just one can be enough.
