Fr. James is a voice for our times. He lives, works and prays at The Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, GA and uses his creative time to take photographs that speak volumes. I read anything I can by him, and gain such peace from his pictures. If you ever get the chance to go by this extraordinary treasure of a place - DO IT!

Some people have a talent for seeing beyond the ordinary and then being able to write about it. James Behrens was one of those people. His small book of meditations/reflections can be a quick read, but it is something that can open a reader up to the world beyond the commonplace to see the beauty in the world around us.
