Since I wasn't a social work major as an undergraduate, I bought this book from a used bookstore for self-study so that I could teach myself about the profession. I was accepted into every social work masters program that I applied to, so I thank this book for teaching me so well about the social work experience. I have this book annotated & sticky noted throughout, and still reference it when I need to.
