Massimo Malipiero in cooperation with the Paul Getty Museum has created this excellent resource, containing his interpretations of the text and illustrations, as well as high quality colour images of the Getty's version of Fiore dei Liberi's treatise (Il Codice Ludwig XV 13). Massimo includes his own illustrations in attempting to explain the principles behind some of Fiore's techniques, and provides a comparison analysis between the Getty's version and the Pisani-Dossi and Morgan.
Il PRIMO e più importante trattato di scherma medievale. Gli appassionati lo adorerebbero, specie se si riuscisse a trovare una versione rimodernata della lingua.
This book is highly recommended for access to the color images of the Getty Manuscript alone and is better than any online sources of the images from the Ludwig XV 13 on the Getty's web site.
Work contains the modern author's thoughts and reconstruction of how he thought the techniques should work. The work is in Italian.
It's worth a read, whether you're interested in historical fighting styles, or just want a quick read. It's mostly pictures, so it's not too long. Definitely will read a few more times for interpretation's sake, and to further learn the methods Fiore teaches.
