Full review maybe. I mean I read this as research for an article or two, or three about John Brunner who I personally think was the best sci-fi writer of the 20th century. This is a critical look at Brunner's work through 1974 when it was released. All by professors at Central Michigan, pretty hip for small midwestern college in the early 70s. Lots of great insight, into all this.
Eight original essays on Brunner's works, including a lengthy career biography by the editor. The approach is interdisciplinary, with authors from the humanities and social and physical sciences. Includes a preface by James Blish and a final chapter in which Brunner responds. Complete bibliography of Brunner's professional works and name and title index. A unique treatment of a 20th-century science fiction writer.
