Um, there are some interesting things in this book. But there are some really really "wtf?" kind of suggestions where I imagine a crazy person on a lot of Prozac writing some of the suggestions. They were just lame. A lot of them. But to be fair, a lot of different types of people will read the book and the few things it thought were cool ideas, someone else might hate. But overall- I was not impressed. The book was worth my time in that I got a lot of names of other beach related books that I'm going to add to my too read list.
Full of ideas of things to do at the beach, but also a nice book to browse if you are just imagining being at the beach. Also includes useful information about how to eat an oyster, what the cleanest beaches are in the USA, etc.
