Done! 4.5/5.. How retail business and marketing works collaboratively to achieve success: very well explained in this book with examples! Good read.. Some of the marketing techniques explained were so creative, it did reminded me of my childhood days when I used to go out for shopping with mom, and shopkeeper used to tell mom 'iss dress main apki beti pari lagegi'.. And many such relatable instances!

It is a very good book to understand the journey of Indian retail. The author does a very good job of helping the read absorb and appreciate the story of evolution of retailing in India. The book covers 10 interesting case studies on Indian retailing such as Khadims, Hatti Kappi, Sethwala Foods Ltd (Mumbai). Through these 10 stories, the author sheds light on how these entrepreneurs used their zeal, determination alongwith the concepts of intelligent retailing to establish and keep growing their businesses. Highly recommend for anyone interested in Indian retailing.
