About the author

Helen Jane Rose grew up in Essex, England. She attended the London College of Communication and graduated with a BA Hons in Journalism and then spent several years working in the radio and magazine industry - until life had other ideas for her. A move abroad and some harsh life challenges later saw her questioning the meaning of life and what was going on in the world. Her searching led to places she wasn’t expecting to go to – within herself and the world at large. She found herself developing an uncommon skill known to some as automatic writing. Not wanting to be deemed as crazy or different she kept secret her transcribings for over 8 years. She started yoga, meditated daily, trained as a Reiki healer and qualified as a meditation and mindfulness teacher.

Through her automatic writing a book was being formed. It was an unusual process in that the author had no idea what was coming next or when it would end. The book became 'Wake Up: Spiritual Enlightenment Uncloaked'. She then went on to write fiction novel 'To Fear, With Love – A Story of Urban Enlightenment'.
