Pogo Bogo. Lions, Lemurs, Tigers, Tapirs, elephants, emus, rhinoceros, reindeers, giraffes, hippopotamus, crocodiles, zebras, & kangaroos run wild & free. The gang: George (giraffe); Pedro (pig); Heidi (hippopotamus); Rocky (hippopotamus); Ebenezer (elephant); & Lancelot (lion) are known for their special feats they do. Pedro started a game of hide/seek. Rolling down a steep hill looking for Pedro they all smacked into the Wishing Tree (oak). What will they all wish for? When the Anagranimals returned they asked the Wishing Tree how they could repay him?

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) fantasy storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s fantasy movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

The animal combos were interesting and the names that the creatures came up with even when you know the combination wouldn't have worked in real life. It was also a twist that they would be able to switch their crazy bodies up with each other although I don't think that would help in any further adventures.
The story other than that didn't have much of a plot but instead was more a prequel start instead of an actual book. I can see this gang is just getting started on a series that they have no idea about. And what is with everyone making hippos female?
a great start to a series, my 5 and 6 yr old loved the mixed up animals and was fun thinking what other combinations could be made. illustrations really brought the story to life. looking forward to more in the series
