This book and the one by Gaonkar were the standards of Computer Engineering in the 80s. I worshipped this book and always dreamt of meeting the author.
To my good fortune in the early 2000s I bumped into Dr Leventhal at a conference in San Francisco, where he was invited as a delegate.
It was one of the most momentous moments of my life. Kudos to this modest genius who in his 80s, still had the thirst for knowledge, spirit and enthusiasm of a newbie developer.
Salutes to these great men who made me and many others, who studied Computer & Electronics Engineering back in the 80s.
