Brief Review I liked it. Why? Pros. -Science Fiction -Space War -Major Character Development -Suspense - Awesome action -Some humor (a lot of puns) - You feel like your there Cons -Not a light read -Lot of detail (depending on individual likes, that may be good thing) -The begging is hard to get into a lot of setting and background info. But after the first 50 pages or so, thing start to pick up, and by the end you find yourself on the edge of your seat.
I Can not wait for the next book. "its not over yet"
Very quotable, very interesting. I will say the main characters seemingly blithe unconcern for the loss of his ship through multiple battles was unexpected. The major plot was a tad stretching it. I had a hard time buying the reasoning behind launching any kind of real convoy without drawing unwanted attention on Earth. That being said, the main character's personal interior commentary took this book from meh, to wow. Definity recommend.
Razorback is more than just a science fiction space war tale; the story is also a pointed commentary on the self destruction of Christendom in the modern world in which obedience and loyalty are used by corrupt men for evil ends. Excellent, recommended.
