After barely surviving the death of the woman he was going to marry, Irish actor Lash Brogan has accepted his first leading role in two years.
But someone doesn’t want the movie to be made. The set is plagued by accidents and deaths. The arrival of an FBI agent with a past connection to Lash, and the appearance of an intriguing woman he would like to get to know better, further tilts his world.
Lash refuses to run from the danger or the painful reminders of his past. He will stay and see the movie through to the end. No matter what the cost to him.
Redemption continues the story of Lash Brogan and his friends. Join them in a world where fate’s not fair, but justice and true love are certain.

Wow what a story... a lot of action, some mystery, and a little romance thrown in for good measure. What started out with a bang ended with a bang. Was not disappointed in reading this book. With the movie set and rehearsal going down hill quick. Their only option was to bring in another actor (but a high end one) and hope for the best that everyone will be safe after he shows up. Only it wasn't and accidents are almost turning fatal again. Now the only question would be, who will make it out alive? And will they ever catch the person doing this? If Agent Ward has anything do about it. He will shut this open case up and lock up those responsible.
This was an easy read and an enjoyable one. It was my first by this author as well. You don't need to read the one before as everything did get explained about some of the connections between characters. Lash was good at what he did, acting, but was a good teacher for other actors. He was friendly yet held back his heart. I loved how all the main players came together to solve and catch the murderer.
I received a copy of this story through CBR Services, and this is my unsolicited review.
This intriguing plot is full of twists and turns with strong characters that easily capture the reader's attention and keep them hanging on the edge of their seats.
The second story in the Fateful Justice series and Irish actor Lash Brogan has accepted his first leading role in two years. We get to see more of Lash as he moves on with his live with the support of his friends and a new woman comes into his life. I want to read the next book. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
First, I want to thank Sara Vinduska for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Redemption by Sara Viduska was a book that was just calling my name to read. I love all things Hollywood/pop culture and mystery and this book had it both!
Sara shocked me with the very incredibly fast paced beginning of the book where they are on set filming a death scene. Except the actor is not acting in the pool of blood-it is actually his!! Now when I was reading this I could remember Brandon Lee from The Crow dying from his own stunt in the movie. Funny because later on in the book that movie is referenced.
Now the fun part of the story finding someone to replace the guy that was killed on set! They found their man with Lash. He had been in the market for an amazing role like this. However, he had a interesting past. He was willing to take the job knowing what happened to the last guy!
If you like murder mysteries, all things Hollywood, twists, investigations, etc. this book is for you.
Right away the cover grabbed my attention. I loved the graphics and they were perfect representation of the book concept. Even the lettering was done well. Kudos to Sweet ‘N Spicy Designs for an amazing job well done.
This book is dedicated to Susie. Sara couldn’t ask for a better best friend. Sooz and Gooz rule.
"Why the hell did people keep trying to kill him?" Those are the thoughts going through Lash Brogan's mind. He survived being kidnapped by a cocaine-crazed mobster, then nearly getting killed by his cronies. A stint with addiction and the death of the woman he loved should have been enough to kill him.
But, instead, Lash is trying to make a comeback as a popular movie star. Unfortunately, the movie he is filming seems to be plagued by bad luck, starting with the "accidental" shooting death of the first star.
Lash is once again being protected by FBI Agent Ward Calhoun, who just happens to have a drop-dead gorgeous sister who works with him on special cases. Lash is immediately drawn to Lauren, but can his heart stand another heartbreak? Or, will Lauren's involvement with him lead to her death?
If you enjoy Harlequin romantic suspense books, this book will be perfect for you. Plenty of romance, action, intrigue and mystery keep the book moving at a fast pace. My only complaint would be that some of the resolutions to the mystery aren't very well fleshed out. The book is well-written and the characters are relatable and likeable, which is always a plus.
I was given the chance to read this book through Candid Book Reviews and chose to review it.
This is pretty good, the plot is very fast paced which I liked because it challenged me to put my mystery thinking cap on as well as engage with the characters. There are a slew of people that I suspected, lol. Another thing that made this such a gripping story is that the super-clever killer could be anyone on the movie set and even gets to share their point of view or reasoning during the story instead of the normal wait to the end, grand finale revelation. Never a dull moment, very intense, with great characters and even some romance to sweeten the deal. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.
This is the first time in reading this author with really when I had finished kinda wished I had also read the first one. Since a fan of HMM channel this storyline caught my similar to something from there. Lash is the heartthrob that leads the way in this with maybe he should not have come back to the movies when havoc happens. Some of it becomes deadly with it opening that door for a second chance in comes the FBI with one in particular. Since he is a trooper and won't give up the "ship" he carries on with us holding our breath at times. The suspense and mystery are good carriers with us following this to the end.
