Meet Player Johnson. Men salute him. Woman love him, he's everybody's hero.
Player has returned home on leave from a tour of duty in Afghanistan, and now he's embarking on a mission of his own; to find the woman he's been exchanging letters with for the past year.
When he finally tracks down Ocean Wilson, he gets far more than he bargained for, leading him to question his life in the Army, his past mistakes, and his future decisions.
He lives by the words; It's better to fight for something than live for nothing.
Player is used to fighting, it is a part of who he is and it isn't long before he finds himself fighting for her, because Ocean is that something better for him.
She has always been a bookworm from an early age and says that her over active imagination and her passion for living within the pages of books, are what drives her to come up with such diverse storylines.
Residing in the UK, where the weather is often wet and windy, she loves nothing more than curling up with a coffee and a good book in her PJ's and take herself off into a fantasy world for a few hours.
Hands down, this has to be THE best book I read online in 2017. It has everything you could want from a book; relatable characters, funny, witty, sad, and smut! Player and Ocean were fierce, passionate and hilarious together as they took me on their journey of discovery. Although an epilogue & bonus chapter was added, it still wasn't enough for me, I could read about these two into their pension years...that's how much this story captivated me. Well done Lil.
This book is epic I tell you. If you are comfortable with reading mature scenes then this is the book no one can miss out. This book is one of a kind and I’ve enjoyed each and every chapters. ❤️😍 The chemistry between Player and Ocean is so so so good. Actually this is my all time favourite book of L.P.Rose 😘
This is by far one of the best books I have ever read. I love how each chapter switches characters so you get to know both Ocean and Player. The plot is absolutely incredible and so unique. I read this in under two days, and after I read all of the other books L.P. Rose has written. A must read.
