- Having first come across the book in middle school; I would, and can still tell you, it's one of the better reads in many of the chapter books that I've read.
- Though I myself give this book a 3-rating, after rereading it several times.
- The main premise of the story goes as follows (no major spoilers);
~ Mike Donohue has learned of the unfortunate hit-and-run death of his wife and child, so he sets out to track down and kill the man responsible.
~ Halfway across the world to Europe, he seeks to enact his revenge on the freighter-passenger ship back home.
~Aside from himself and his target, he makes semi-close ties with the other passengers on the ship which begins to make his plan for revenge difficult.
...
- Personally, I really do love this book and the way the characters are written and designed, however, I personally do not like the main character, Mike Donohue. His personality is most laid bare for you to see but he is very well written.
- Read the book, something you shouldn't really not read in my opinion.
