She has appeared in a 13-part series on Italian cooking for public television and conducts a cooking school at Badia a Coltibuono, an 11th-century estate and winery near the Chianti region of Tuscany. She divides her time between Milan and Badia a Coltibuono.

Another book which feeds the soul and the eyes so well one hardly need utilize it to prepare food but I will be doing so as the recipes are as tempting as the rest of the book. I am a soft touch for lovely photos or paintings of fruits arrayed in all their glories and this book is outstanding in that regard which was the hook. Still, lovely cookbooks feed other than the physical appetite as I’ve said before.
