Office Arcade: Gamification, Byte-Size Learning, and Other Wins on the Way to Productive Human Resources

Rate this book
Traditional corporate training techniques are proving ineffective in the digital era. Everyone commonly engages with a portable screen for both work and play. If you want your talented recruits to learn and retain the skills they need to help your business succeed, then your HR and corporate training teams need to get into the gamification with technology that makes training fun!

In Office Arcade, Trajectory IQ founder and CEO Jason Suriano shows how to upgrade in-house training materials with modern gaming technology. Employees receive relevant resources and information that engages their visual, auditory, and kinesthetic senses in byte-size bursts, encouraging them to play and enjoy the learning process. And with their mobile devices, their training doesn’t have to stop in the boardroom on a company computer. Gamification also benefits human resource professionals with the flow of performance data that helps in evaluating current and potential employees.

With Jason Suriano’s proven techniques, discover how you can gamify your company, attract motivated talent, and create a productive workforce that’s a win-win for your business.

This is a very thin book in terms of content- feels more like a self-promotion tool for the author. This could have been effectively condensed into a 4-5 page magazine article.
